Sheeples part 2

In an even further attempt to enlighten those who don't care about politics or those that still have the blinders on. I'm not talking about what Obama is doing, I'm talking about what the federal government has been doing to us. Stealing our liberties in the name of charity. They continue to spend us in to an insurmountable debt and borrow money like they can print their way out of debt. It's not a republican or a democrat thing. Both parties are equally at fault. I'm not a third party advocate but I do think that the two party system needs to be shaken up. The whole system needs to be shaken up. The states have lost the power to control what goes on in their own borders. Look at what's going on with immigration currently in Arizona and around the country. Arizona passes a law that enforces an existing federal law. Sounds simple right? Not so quick, the federal government is leading the charge against the Arizona law. They speak out against the law even after admitting that they never read the bill. The federal government and the left wing libtards are standing with illegal aliens protesting a federal law and now it's gotten even worse. Cities around the country have began a hypocritical boycott of Arizona. The city of Los Angeles boycotts Arizona and tells Laker fans not to buy anything while in Arizona and continues to receive power and water from Arizona as well as using it's landfills. San Francisco joined in and how about the girls basketball team that didn't get to play in a tournament because it was in Arizona. The boycotts are actually an embargo and it's unconstitutional for one state to "boycott" another state, it's even unconstitutional for the federal government to embargo a state or support a state on state embargo. To top it off, the Mexican President stands in our Congressional chamber and slams our laws when the Mexican immigration laws are 10 times worse than ours. The President of the United States, vocally opposing a federal law (Arizona state law mirrors existing federal law) that has been in effect for a very long time. Why didn't he address it as a Senator?

Let's look at some of the things he said he would do as President, some of those long forgotten campaign promises. Won't raise taxes on people making less than $250,000, couldn't keep that, smokers, tanners, uninsured, underinsured, those buying medical devices (from crutches to pacemakers), capital gains, death tax, inheritance tax, fuel tax, sin tax and a whole bunch of others. Will allow Americans to buy prescription drugs from other countries, with all the garbage in the death care bill, he couldn't even fit this one in. How about foreclosure protection, pumped $75 billion in to stop foreclosures, now everybody is looking for where the money went because there's still lots of people losing houses. Let's look at how he was going to change the rules regarding lobbying, I guess it's not breaking a promise if you grant waivers (kinda like the paygo, they pass it and then allow exemptions for the next few bills, one of which was the death care bill). One of my favorites and how people don't catch this one, get out of Iraq, but then pledges to send more troops. Don't forget how much "the admin" loves our elderly, forget about the tax breaks on them, even those making less than $50,000 per year and don't forget about taking the medicare advantage away from seniors. I don't know which is worse, the promises he broke or the promises he kept. About the only ones he kept were the ones that grew the size of government, government employees and piled on more deficit spending.

These are a few of the things that even the Obama supporters should take a look at, nothing is in the interest of the people or even our capitalist country. If Americans wanted socialism, they wouldn't have ran the communist and socialist parties out of the country time and time again. It's the progressive tag, it fools people. They think it means progress, not socialism. I surely hope the American people wake up and smell the communism. Then I guess we will see if the progressives/communists rename themselves the Populist Party.

Wake up Sheeples!

I know politics is a very boring topic for many people, but for some, they can be very passionate. The American people have become fat, dumb and happy, pay no attention to the world around us or the people governing us. We forgot that, we the people, are in charge of the government, not the government in charge of us. Another thing that has been lost along the way is the power of the states. The people of the several states created the federal government, the federal government didn't create the states. It's called federalism. The founders granted certain, enumerated powers to the federal government. Powers not granted to the federal government were left to the states, this concept was so important to our system of government we were given the 10th Amendment to the United States Constitution. Many United States citizens don't even know what type of government we have, or should I say are supposed to have. The United States has a Constitution based Federal Republic, with democratic traditions. It's a lot different than the democracy they taught in school. They tell us we are free and if you look around the globe, we are among the most free in the world. As we became entrenched as a super power, both military and economic, our egos got the better of us and we just believed that our elected officials were doing what was in our best interest, even we even voted. The United States with multiple candidates from multiple parties on average draws barely over 60% voter turn out, by way of comparison, in the USSR they would average over 95% voter turn out and they had only a single candidate. While we were busying being free, living under the Constitution and being the model for the rest of the world; we forgot our position in the government, our checks and balances of the politicians we elect.

As a fan of history, I recently started getting into United States history and realized that we weren't following the principles that this country was founded on and it made me keep looking. I found some very disturbing things as I looked deeper. The Constitution has been under attack and violated for nearly 200 years. It has been said that power corrupts and that can be seen in our government. What began as government service turned into government careers and that's when the problem got worse. These power hungry "public servants" began to do everything they could to increase their own power at the expense of those they were elected to represent.

Both parties have strayed from the constitution at our expense, taking our personal liberties with them. "Give some of what you have, so I can take care of other people." "You don't need that much, give it to someone else." "You don't know what's best for you or your family only the government does." "Private businesses are crooks, the government must control them." In the radical 1960's, there were several groups trying to destroy the American lifestyle, among them were Cloward and Piven. Radical professors that came up with the idea that if you overload the system it will collapse upon it's own weight. Don't forget Saul Alinsky and his Rules for Radicals, where if you don't take care of your neighbor, he will kill you in the middle of the night. Richard Cloward and Francis Piven studied Alinsky theory just like Obama and Hillary Clinton. The whole theory behind Alinsky, Cloward and Piven is the destruction of capitalism. The destruction of capitalism. Capitalism, the system our country is based on and these people want to destroy it.

This plan didn't pop up overnight, it's been in the works for several decades. I don't want to sound like a conspiracy theorist, but someone is behind it. I started to realize the government had a lot more power than it was supposed to. Did you know that Congress and only Congress has the power to declare war? Congress has not declared war since WWII. Korean War, no war declared. Vietnam War, no war declared. Gulf War, no war declared. Iraqi War, no war declared. That's just the beginning, America is being turned into a nanny state. The powers behind it all want total control and won't be happy until they get it. Both parties have been corrupted. Take for example the glaring similarities between Ex President Bush and President Obama. Undeclared wars, government bailouts, tarp, record spending, record deficits, consolidation of power in the White House and flagrant disrespect of our Constitution. Take the blinders off and take a look, the only difference between Bush and Obama is Obama is in fast forward and surrounded himself with left wing radicals, from communists, to marxists, to terrorists and a whole slew of others with wildly radical views, nearly 40 appointed czars. If McCain would have been elected, things wouldn't have been much different, McCain is a deceptiCon.

We need to look past party lines and see what's happening. Why some people can so blindly follow someone. Listen to the message, it on one side on one day and the other side the next day. Pay attention, our country is too great a place to be ruined by these power hungry crooks. The American Dream can not survive in a nanny state. Please people, we can't let this happen. Pay attention to what's happening in the world around you. Don't rely on the newspaper, the nightly news, msnbc, cnn, fox or npr. Use them all plus any additional sources you can find. All news is biased, filter through, open your eyes. If you are more happy letting the government take care of you and tell you how to live; I have one thing to say to you...get out of my country and go find some socialist utopia to live in.

Letter to lawmakers

I attached a letter that I sent to both of my Senators using congress.org the easiest way to contact your elected officials.

I am writing you to inform you on my feelings for President Obama's nomination for Supreme Court Justice. I would like to ask you to vote against the confirmation of Solicitor General Kagan. From what I've seen, heard and read on the internet she is not a good pick for the Supreme Court. She appears to be very anti-military, kicking recruiters off Harvard Campus in violation of federal law. She appears to outspoken in favor of eliminating free speech, calling for a ban on hate speech and obscene speech. I don't agree with obscene or hate speech but under the 1st Amendment to the United States Constitution they have a right to speak there obscene and hate. She appears to be very much an activist and I'm afraid she'll try to legislate censorship from the Supreme Court.
