Decline of Western Civilization, the Progressive Years.

The decline of western civilization begun a long time ago under the administration of Theodore Roosevelt, one of the earliest progressive to try and fundamentally transform this nation from a free market economy to a socialist, nanny state. It didn't stop with him, Woodrow Wilson followed and stole more liberty. One of the biggest socialist Presidents is one of the most overrated as well, FDR. According to the progressive textbooks, he is one of the best but they want to glorify the social welfare programs and hide the stealing of liberty. Another fact the textbooks leave out, is all those social programs delayed recovery from the Great Depression. Some economic historians claim his programs turned a depression into the Great Depression.

Another interesting fact about the most progressive President we ever had was FDR's admiration for Stalin in Russia. Stalin, one of the most ruthless and heartless dictators the world has ever seen. He massacred millions of his own countrymen, enslaved millions more and forced millions more into poverty and a US President admired this monster! It's no wonder that the progressive agenda so closely resembles the planks of communism.

Progressives are the smartest people in the world, just ask them and they will tell you. They know better than you what's best for you. They have a higher moral compass and only look out for the greater good. It's not your fault if you can't survive, the smart progressives know that. They want to take the wealth from those who create it and give it away to those who constantly don't perform to society standards. If you are lucky enough to be successful, you won't be for long; you have to "donate" your money to the less fortunate.

The progressives have slowly been stealing our liberties for over 100 years. Federal education, central bank, social security, welfare, medicare, medicaid, health care, gun control, insurance regulation, EPA, energy regulation, profits and many other types of forced charity.

As the American people realize the goal behind the progressive agenda they tend to reject it. As it resurfaces, with some different language and some different, manufactured crisis, they gain some support until the communist agenda comes out and the American people reject it.

The 1960's radicals gave new birth to a new type of progressive. These new radical progressives knew that to socialize America they would have to do it under cover. They studied the teachings of Saul Alinsky and Cloward/Piven theories. These people taught radical overthrow of government, it was not to gain control of the presidency, or Congress but to totally overthrow the whole capitalist system of government. Alinsky taught that your neighbor would kill you in your sleep if he was hungry and you had food. He taught to manufacture crisis to create support for your point of view, to create someone to hate (the point for the aggression) and make them live up to their own rules (no government is perfect, so exploit that). Combine that with the Cloward/Piven strategy of making the system crash down upon itself by clogging it up with as many recipients as possible. Additionally, they taught to help it crash by having "plants" on the inside, helping bankrupt the system from the top down.

These radical progressives have worked their way into the system and have begun to to implement their agenda. In a previous blog, I discussed how they hijacked not only the democratic party but have got their hands into the republican party as well.

With the passage of health care, on a late Sunday night (seems like the perfect time), the government control of the auto industry, the housing industry, the banking industry brings the government control up to 48% of the private economy. As Lenin said, "health care is the keystone in the arch of socialism". Health care gives the government control over who lives and dies. Is a child born with birth defect going to be treated the same as a healthy child? Not according to socialized medicine. Is the 75 year old that needs a transplant going to receive it? Not according to socialized medicine. When the pool to pay for procedures is limited by those who pay into it, decisions must be made on who is going to receive the limited treatment. They must measure the benefit of the individual to society against the cost of the procedure. Looking at it strictly from a business standpoint and the decision makes economic sense, not moral.

Obama, unlike his other progressive predecessors, moved way to quick and the people caught on. Even the liberal polls showed a majority of the country against the proposed health care reform (not against reform, just the proposed reform) but the progressives shoved it through and made back room deals and paid off congressmen to assure passage. Now the pressure is on, with congressional approval at an all time low (17% last time I checked) the progressive majority is in question. That makes it all the more scary. You hear the Speaker of the House tell fellow party members to commit political career suicide and vote for a bill. The progressives threatened to pull out some little known congressional tricks to get this health care bill through, reconciliation and the self executing rule. These procedures have been used in the past, but never to this magnitude.

My first thought was that after health care was shoved through, the progressives would go after the mother of all tax programs, cap and trade. But they tricked me, it looks like they are going to work on amnesty. It makes sense, the progressive majority is in danger in November and adding 20 million new voters into the country and giving them welfare, social security and all the other benefits of being an American that they will automatically vote them back in office.

Cap and trade is the mother of all tax programs and it will be the last step the progressives need to totally control American society. Cap and trade will virtually tax everything. They tax those who pollute, those that pollute pass that tax on in the form of higher prices. England, which is under a cap and trade program, install microchips on the government issued trash cans that can monitor the amount of trash being produced, they wouldn't tax someone for producing too much trash. Smart grids and smart boxes that monitor the amount of energy used down to the minute, wouldn't be used to tax someone for using energy during peak hours. Cap and trade also effects fuel prices, delivery prices, car prices and any price that has goods shipped in, manufactured or sold. Cap and trade can and will reach into every aspect of life.

After the defeat of the progressive agenda in the upcoming elections, that's when things can get really scary. The progressives know that they are walking a thin line passing health care and pushing for amnesty. Who knows what they will do when they are all lame ducks. The will be voted out in November and don't leave office until January. I could see some very socialist/progressive bills being shoved through Congress using reconciliation and deem and pass. Cap and trade, for reasons above, is the bill I see getting shoved through. The progressive agenda would almost be complete, the only thing left would be to get Obama reelected, which will be a trick. With the countries eyes open to the real progressive agenda, and progressives losing elections across the nation, Obama wouldn't stand a chance to be reelected, right? The radicals would then turn to one of the tactics that they always accuse their opponents of doing, cheating. Did you ever notice that liberal/progressive/radicals always cry foul when things don't go their way, even with no evidence or substance to back it up? They blame those pesky ballots, "people can't figure out how to punch a hole in the card", "they were confused, they thought they were voting for someone else, the ballots confusing". So they went to a computer system, not that computer systems ever get hacked or manipulated and this is where Obama will strike. After the reelection of Obama, the progressives only remaining task would be to remove those pesky presidential term limits. The only problem would be the public outcry. Democrats, republicans, independents and libertarians take to the streets to protest the stolen election and when federal police are brought in to quell the uprising, a civil war is sparked. This time it is a real civil war, two groups fighting for control of the government.

I know this may sound outlandish, far fetched, a crazy right-wing conspiracy theory but look what has been happening to our country, the Founders would not even recognize it, they would be ashamed that we let the country they created turn into a nanny state.

The Founding Fathers warned of the federal government becoming to powerful. The monster the states created has grown fat, bloated and sucking all the power it can to control every aspect of life.

We must wake up as many people as we can to this communist takeover, before our slogan is changed to "from each according to his ability, to each according to his needs"

I know you officially have not said whether you were for or against the health care. I want to ask again, that you do not support this legislation. The bill that I read would have serious impact on my small business.

Additionally, without real reform to some of the real causes, like tort reform and medical malpractice insurance insurance premiums will continue to rise.. We need to let insurance companies compete across state lines, that would create competition unlike installing a single additional option from the government.

Finally, the use of a self executing rule to claim a bill has been passed is the biggest injustice to our Constitution, where it clearly states, in Article I section 7 how a bill becomes a law and it states that both Houses of Congress must vote on a bill. Using a rule, that is used to approve Senate Amendments to a previously House approved bill, not for the House to approve a bill that has not been debated by the House.

Please stand up against this bill and don't allow this "deem and pass" be used, it sets a dangerous precedent.

Progressive Agenda

There have always been dark periods of history, even in the United States. One of those dark periods in United States history was the Progressive Era. The progressive movement has been around for a long time, the Progressive Party surfaces and disappears once the American people catch on to the real agenda. Now the Progressives are using Rules for Radicals to pass their agenda. The Progressives have slowly over time, chipped away at our liberties, slowly so Americans don't realize what's happening.

The first problem with the Progressive agenda appears in the first line of the platform, talking about a "sense of justice". At the end of the declaration, it tries to hide it's real agenda "This country belongs to the people who inhabit it. Its resources, its business, its institutions and its laws should be utilized, maintained or altered in whatever manner will best promote the general interest." It states right there clearly that the government should control everything within the country in the name of the general interest. The second item on the agenda is to amend the constitution to make it easier to amend to fit "progressive" needs. The progressive agenda also attempts to destroy state identity in favor of federal collectivism, consolidate federal power in a central location. Again the main interest of the progressive's is to create social and industrial justice. Progressive's also believe that profits from business should be sent to the people, not kept, destroying any profit motive business might have. Progressives called for strong federal control of business and business trade. Progressives believe that government bureaucrats can run lives better than the person themselves. Farmers don't know how to farm, businessmen don't know how to run business and laborers don't know how to labor; the government must step in and show them the way. Progressive also believe that all land and water should be controlled by the government because left in the hands of settlers, they would be wasted because the settler doesn't know how to use the land, only the government does. Progressive don't believe in the court system, the government knows better than judges. Progressives want everything decided by the people, the reason being they were creating a nation of dependents, if the government controlled everything the citizens are dependent on the government to provide them with everything they need to survive. The progressives also wanted to destroy patents, the inventor had no right to his invention; the government would know how to better utilize his invention. Progressives believe that the government should oversee private investment and establish a bureaucracy to streamline federal agencies to eliminate duplication (abolish state agencies in favor of federal).

I included most of the beliefs of the progressives, the ones I left out have already been adopted through legislation and the handful of progressive Presidents. Among these is popular election of Senators, a direct attack on states rights. The states, who created the federal government, lost their voice in federal affairs. Progressive tax rates and inheritance taxes. The department of Labor to look out for the "worker" at the expense of the business, EPA, SEC, Dept of Education, Dept of Interior and the tons of other federal bureaucracies that now exist.

The goal of the Progressives is complete control, they have been slowly centralizing power and with health care and cap & trade now being pushed they are closer than ever. The progressive agenda closely resembles the ideas and goals of communism, which I will briefly get into next.

Karl Marx, the "founder" of communism established the 10 planks of communism as a test to determine whether a country was practicing communism. The first is the abolition of private property for public purposes (progressives feel the land should go to the "greater" good). The second plank is a heavy, graduated income tax (this has already been implemented in the United States and is a big favorite of progressives). The third is abolition of inheritances (progressives have implemented this under social justice, those that die with more than they needed shouldn't be able to give it who they want). Fourth is confiscation of property of immigrants and rebels (look at the terrorist laws, eminent domain, IRS confiscation, RICO laws). The fifth plank is a central bank (we call it the federal reserve, another progressive item shoved through because the government knows best). Sixth on the list is control of communications (although not officially a progressive party platform, this has been done through the FCC, USDOT, etc.). Next is factories and farmland under state control (I think the progressives just straight borrowed that one from Marx). Eighth is equal labor for all (just like the heavily union supported progressive party). Ninth plank is combining agriculture with industrial to eliminate town and country (progressives feel the same way, balance out the population). Finally is free education (another one take directly from Marx, I think). Education should be readily available but not sponsored and regulated by a bureaucrat thousands of miles away.

Comparing the progressive party side by side with the communist party and it's pretty obvious that the two are interchangeable. Americans have been rejecting the progressive agenda for nearly 100 years, they keep changing their name but the platform remains the same. Total control. I wonder if they will come back as the Populist Party.

The progressive agenda isn't about progressing with the changing times, it's about progressing towards communism.

Two face liberals

How shallow liberals must be. They blindly follow a party and tout their published talking points and never see the lies and double talk. Just a couple of years ago, when Bush was using reconciliation (for the properly created reasons, not that I agree w/reconciliation now or when it was used previously) the Democrats were coming unglued. They couldn't stop screaming about how wrong it was to use the nuclear option (libs coined the phrase), they couldn't believe that the majority would use such tactics. The libs all hailed the filibuster, the minority party savior the Senate rules the protect us from evil legislation. Obama was one of those in the Senate arguing against the evil reconciliation and now, just a few short years later Obama is leading the charge for the nuclear option. Why can't the sheeples see that?

Shall we next talk about the draining of swamp as Pelosi called it. Getting rid of the cloud of corruption hanging over Washington. What does she do, nothing...in fact she does less than nothing, she encourages it. After the election last November but before Obama was innagurated, Pelosi and Reid talked about the new era of fiscal responsibility in Congress, that they weren't going to follow the path of the evil previous administration. What happens w/the cloud of corruption, nothing in fact it gets worse, Congressmen on illegally funded corporate vacations, $100,000 liquor bills for in flight beverages, tax fraud, tax evasion, sexual harassment, adultery, immigration issues and the list goes on and on. What happens with the new fiscally conservative Congress? They pass the largest spending bill in the history of the United States, followed by the bail out and take over of private industries. Wake up sheeples!

The libs are in 12 month campaign mode. They will tell you whatever you want to hear and they believe you are so ignorant that you won't notice when they do the exact opposite the next day. We need to pay attention to what's happening! Get informed, get involved. The Founders believed that it was everyone's duty to make sure the government stayed in line, for years the federal government has been stepping outside those lines and we have let them get away with it. They are centralizing power in Washington instead of allowing the states to govern themselves. It's time to let Washington know the states created the Federal monster, not the other way around.
